Currently, there is an outcry and yearning that conditions regarding service delivery be restored in order to live a normal life.
We all agree that Apartheid and racism, on both sides of the spectrum, were evil and a insult to mankind.
Kindly allow me to take us back down memory lane when we could rely on constant supply of basic services, primarily water and electricity.
Imagine a South Africa where the core values of the DA:
– an open society with opportunities for all
– freedom, fairness and diversity solidly in place
– infrastructure, roads, sanitation, verges etc. in our towns on a high standard on par with Cape Town
Imagine our God-given, beautiful country being restored and blooming again to its former beauty, a country which make us proud to be called a South African.
Thousands of people have settled on the South Coast honestly believing their real estate will experience normal growth and appreciation, for the majority of people their most important tangible asset.
Imagine their current nightmare could be turned around into a growing, healthy investment.
This miracle can happen if all of us change our viewpoint on life and attitude.
Personal self-introspection is needed to realise that any bitterness and unforgiveness is self-destructive.
Could we kindly take advice from Paul Kruger:
“Rather take the good from the past and build the future on it”.
Let us all stand together and allow divine intervention from God to bring the vital change.
TAP KRUGER
DA PR. Councillor
