Tuning In: Building up and breaking down, why?
Community news and events in Pennington and surrounding areas.
It would appear that Eskom will be suspending load shedding shortly. This is great news for one and all, no doubt about that.
In happy news, the dassie which was found in the car at Halfway Toyota, Widenham is now at the Johannesburg Wildlife Vets for rehab.
He’s joining a troop of others his age. Grateful thanks to all involved.

Does anyone have any idea as to what is happening at the back of the Pennington municipal building?
Buildings are being broken down and other buildings are being built up. The rubble/rubbish is so ugly. Is there an explanation?
There is also often burning at the back of this building. Are there people living there?

I know that the community will join me in sending heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Ann Holland who died on July 11.

Heartfelt condolences are also sent to the family and friends of June Cilliers who died on Saturday, July 16.
