The Umdoni mayor helped clean up litter on Mandela Day. I walk every day and pick up litter as I go.
The message from the municipality should be: ‘Do Not Litter’ as South Africa has a serious litter culture.
Appropriately, on Mandela Day, I am always amazed that people throw litter on the ground, the ground our Father of this Nation was prepared to die for.
Please municipality, lead the way and preach this message to the people of Umdoni.
