FreeMe Wildlife, a trauma and rehabilitation facility for wild animals in the Midlands, will be visiting Scottburgh’s Crocworld Conservation Centre.
The facility, which was founded in 2007, has a team of specialists and volunteers who provide quality care in the best interest of animals, no matter how big or small. They have been given the opportunity to do a presentation on owls for the conservation centre’s monthly talk.
The monthly talks were put on hold due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, but are back.
The centre’s bird curator, Ryne Ferguson, is thrilled with the return of the talks and said that they give insight into the incredible animals that reside in the area.
“Mojo, who is now our late resident eagle owl, was such a popular addition to the centre, and we felt that an owl-focused talk would be a great way to start the new series,” he said.
FreeMe Wildlife’s CEO Wade Whitehead will be joined by the resident raptor specialist, finances and development officer, Tammy Caine for the talk this Saturday (27th).
