We humans, to varying degrees, dirty the environments in which we live and work.
Dropping litter off along side roads, in cul de sacs and in drainage ditches are favourite spots.
I used to be upset at those who litter, however, now I understand the problems lies with the authorities who should be cleaning up behind those who leave the litter.
We, after all, pay taxes to keep the place clean.
Thinking into the future about 100 years from now, imagine the wonderful treasures that will be unearthed in excavations.
Presently we find pottery, tiles and clay urns; in the future – black plastic bags filled with cigarette butts and disposable baby nappies.
Wonder how we will be judged based on these discoveries?
