Why is Margate‘s Olympic swimming pool still closed?
The holiday season is around the corner and the popular pool remains shut since the April floods this year.
Maintenance issues surrounding the pool goes back to 2016.

The swimming pool remains closed after the damage it suffered.
The municipality is in the process of securing the resources required to effect repairs. We are hopeful that it will be functional by the time our
visitors arrive.
