OPINION: Ramaphosa fiddling like Nero did?

These challenges need a strong hand so that they can be brought under control, as they seem to impede all attempts to repair our country.

I remember a particular tale, regarding a certain Roman emperor, who supposedly enjoyed playing the fiddle.

According to the tale, he fiddles away while Rome burned down around him.

Would it be fair comment to compare that act of his to the situation we have here?

Our local version of Nero seems to enjoy flitting around, being seen on the world stage, going from glamour event to glamour event like a butterfly from flower to flower, while this country is in dire need of strong and present leadership to help overcome our challenges.

These challenges need a strong hand so that they can be brought under control, as they seem to impede all attempts to repair our country.
