Ugu is defunct. I have a water leak outside on my property in Uvongo.
Water was spraying two to three metres high and running down the road for days.
I contacted Ugu the same day (Thursday) when I eventually got through.
I got a reference number and was told it would be attended to. Kept phoning every day. It took Ugu eight days to attend to the problem.
The plumber eventually came and did a botch job and the leak was not fixed.
Called again several times and plumber came again and said a different department needs to install a new meter.
To this day, now five weeks later, nothing has been fixed nor installed.
