I read the article in the Herald regarding the marshals that keep Port Shepstone CBD clean.
Hibberdene police and security firms removed all the self-proclaimed car guards from the parking bays a year ago, but they are all back, and there are now more than ever before.
Instead of one pestering you, now it’s three.
On May 30, I had to go to buy spares for some work that needed to be done at our complex.
Three came to the LDV and told me they will look after the vehicle. I told them it will look after itself.
However, there was a bag on the front seat with bread and milk.
While inside waiting to pay for my spares, I heard the LDV’s alarm going off. I ran out and was told by the one that it was because another vehicle drove past.
I told him he was talking nonsense, reset the alarm and relocked the doors.
When I came out of the store, the three of them were leaning against the LDV. I asked them whether they need a bed and if so, then they must go to the furniture shop and buy one.
I was moaned at by one of them.
Please, can we get rid of these people again, and this time for good.
