The Pennington community is thrilled with their Village Green sign and thanks Tidy Towns Pennington.
The Green Team has also been hard at work. Every Thursday, a group of volunteers get together for a couple of hours to improve the green spaces in Pennington.
Reasons to join: to be green and gorgeous, to contribute to the community, to meet like-minded people, to feel good about ourselves and our achievements and to wear snazzy wellies and gloves!
As one Green Teamer once said: “I prefer to do what I say rather than say what to do – walk the talk, not talk the walk!”
