OPINION: No bylaws enforced in Sea Park

Casuarina Road is now looking like a shebeen.

I had guys drinking outside my house in Sea Park last Saturday morning. I phoned the Saps for assistance, but no one came out.

I posted it on the Lazer 911 group asking for help, and they did come out and removed them.

My family and I are thankful to Lazer for always helping out.

I woke up early on Sunday morning and parked my car in my driveway so these people couldn’t sit under a tree to drink.

But, they did come, they saw me in the car and waited to see if I was going to move. However, they got fed up and walked away.

So, I took a drive along Casuarina Road. And, believe it or not, these guys are sitting at every corner and in people’s driveways and drinking.

Also, I went to the main entrance to the beach on Third Avenue, and guys were sitting there blocking the entrance and drinking.

Casuarina Road is now looking like a shebeen.

People of Casuarina Road, we definitely have a big problem. I have tried my best to call the Saps, but they never show up.

They have their own story – no van available. I call Law Enforcement and they don’t come out either.

I had to pick up my driver’s licence, and when I got home, three men were outside my house drinking.

As a woman, it is scary to drive in and see people drinking outside your home.

DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED
