BRONWYN TANNER: Tuning In – Non-profits work hand in hand

Community news and events for the mid-South Coast area.

In a heartening display of solidarity, Tidy Towns Pennington has stepped up in support of Hearts in Hands, an NPO, to make a meaningful impact this Easter.

Represented by dedicated Pennington residents Cavell Deall and Viv Sandwith, Tidy Towns Pennington has actively supported the Easter Drive, showcasing the power of NPOs working together towards a common goal.

This initiative highlights how collaborative efforts can multiply the impact of community-focused projects, inspiring others to join the cause.

“Our work is rooted in improving our community, and we’re proud to support Hearts in Hands, whose values align with ours,” said Sandwith.

“Together, we can bring hope and happiness to those who need it most during this special time of year.”

The drive aims to collect over 2 000 Easter eggs to share, distribute and spread love to the children via the creches it supports in Embo, the elderly at The Twinkle Star Foundation, and The Elders Voice Pennington.

Everyone is invited to contribute to this initiative. Contact Hearts in Hands founder Tracy Klokie on tracy@khwezi.net or project manager Kim Griffith Jones on kim@kimgriffithjones.com or 076 6129060.
