To the matric class of 2025, I would like to say this. As the sun rises over the South Coast, so too rises a generation standing on the edge of its future. These weeks ahead will test your strength, your patience, and your faith but remember, gold is only refined in fire.
To every matriculant: the long nights, the sacrifices, the silent prayers they were not in vain. “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans” (Proverbs 16:3). Walk into each exam knowing that Heaven walks beside you.
To our teachers, you once vowed to light the path of knowledge and truth. You have done so faithfully. Your labour in these young hearts will echo far beyond the classroom.
And to every parent, sit with your child, remind them who they are, and speak courage into their spirit. Tell them that fear does not define them, only faith does.
From the people, businesses, and leaders of the South Coast we believe in you, we stand with you, and we await the light you will bring into the world.
Go with strength. Go with faith. You’ve got this, Class of 2025.
