It’s holiday time again and it’s oh so wonderful to spend it at our beautiful beaches (the e-coli free ones), but people need to seriously start respecting these public spaces a lot more.
It’s great to have a picnic or sit and relax on grass patches down at the beach. People just need to remember to keep it clean!
We were at Rocky Bay last Friday, and there were paper cups and plates and even big blobs of food lying on the concrete tables and on the grass. What is so difficult about cleaning this up? There are so many rubbish bins nearby too. People can be so selfish!
This festive season, people should treat others the way they wish to be treated, and people should also keep places the way they found it – neat and tidy. And don’t forget to show to respect to the earth which is our home for who knows how much longer. One can only pray that humans start respecting this land before it’s too late.
