Volunteer to save lives
The NSRI is looking for men and women aged between 18 and 55 years.
The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) is inviting members of the public who would like to volunteer their time to save lives in water, to attend its crew recruitment drive.
The drive will be held at Station 39 Rocky Bay in Park Rynie on Sunday, September 11.
According to the institute, it is looking for men and women aged between 18 and 55 who would like to join a team of committed volunteers working to help the local community.
It added that NSRI training provides the crew with a wonderful career opportunity to become coast watchers, sea-going crew, shore crew, and Class one, three, and four coxswains.
“Come, chat and see how you can get involved. No prior experience is required. What to bring? Running shoes, swimming costume, and comfortable training clothes,” said the NSRI.
