Join in daily Navaratri puja

Devotees need to note that Puja will be conducted from Monday, September 26.

The Hibiscus Coast Navaratri Committee will be hosting its annual Navaratri Puja 2022.

This year will signify the tenth anniversary since the formation of the committee and commencement of this Puja on the Hibiscus Coast.

The committee urges all new, current and preceding devotees to join in solidarity and participate in the daily Puja and Hawan.

Having weathered through storms such as the Covid-19 pandemic, civil unrests and the recent KwaZulu-Natal floods, it is imperative that devotees come together in prayer and gratitude for Mata Di’s protection upon them.

Devotees need to note that Puja will be conducted from Monday, September 26 to Tuesday October 4, from 5.30pm for 6pm on weekdays, and 2.30pm for 3pm on weekends.

“The venue is the Hi-Land International Conference Centre at 1 Ravine Lane, Main Harding Road, Port Shepstone. Safe and ample parking will be available on site. The Puja will be conducted with the guidance of Pundit Minraj Sadgopte. Visarjan to be performed on Wednesday, October 5 (venue to be announced). Maha Prasad and supper will be served daily (donations are welcome). Devotees wishing to conduct Puja at their homes and require the services of Pundit Minraj Sadgopte, please feel free to do so. For any home Puja bookings, please contact the function coordinator Anosha Ramouthar on 074 897 6413,” said the committee.
