The gospel household name said the revival was necessary following the sense of loss and chaos the Covid-19 pandemic left behind, adding that she wanted to lift spirits up through praise and worship.

Sekgobela who is a SABC Crown Gospel Awards winner, said she has always been intentional and committed to proclaiming the gospel to the world through her music and ministry.

She added that she has ministered on international stages in Singapore, New York, London, Chicago, Lesotho, Botswana and more.

“For the revival at the Wild Coast Sun, attendees were asked to come with a willing heart and tap into the anointing and grace, as they gathered together in worship,” said Sekgobela.

Meanwhile, Nozibusiso Mthembu who attended Sekgobela’s show said she was definitely longing for a gospel session like the one at the Tropical Nites Theatre.

“Every day we go through so much and there are times where you just want to vent and cry but it is hard because we tend to struggle with opening up and confiding in certain people. So a night of praise and worship, hits the right spot. You can sing out loud, cry and just pray without having to worry about who is looking at you. I really needed Lebo’s show and I thoroughly enjoyed it,” she said.
