Pre-schoolers celebrate heritage in style

Pre-scholars were all dressed up in Zulu traditional outfits for Heritage Month celebrations

Pre-schoolers and staff from Sitholimfundo Creche in Kwamadlala celebrated Heritage Month on Friday, September 29.

Educator, Zanele Sihlophe said the pupils came to school all dressed up and enjoyed some traditional dishes prepared by the staff.

“We had isigwamba, isijingi, jeqe, amadumbe, izinkobe and isigwaqane which are Zulu dishes.

“Both the educators and staff enjoyed the meals and entertainment by the pupils,” said Sihlophe.

She said she would like to thank the parents for making the an extra effort preparing the pupils.
