Police warn against investment scam

Police urge public not to fall prey of fraud scam.

Port Shepstone police are warning the public against a fraud scam currently circulating.

Port Shepstone police spokesperson, Captain Petros Mpinge said in this scam, persons are requested to make investments in a mining company and promised large returns of their investment.

“When they try to call the number listed, it no longer exists. The public is urged not to fall prey to this scam,” said Mpinge.
