Dogs love flyball

This sport is open to all breeds of dogs including crossbreeds.

Flyball is a sport of two teams competing against one another in a relay race.

Each team consists of four dogs and four handlers.

Two teams compete against one another where each dog has to run over the four hurdles without assistance, trigger the flyball box to release the ball, catch the ball and return with the ball over the same four hurdles.

If the dog makes a mistake, it must run again. The fastest team with the least mistakes wins the heat. Flyball is noisy and exciting. The dogs love it.

This sport is a wonderful discipline for high energy dogs that have less agile handlers.

Once you have your dog trained in what it is required to do, you can also be part of the fun.

We have an excellent team of trainers on hand and eager to start helping you and your dog reach your flyball goals.

This sport is open to all breeds of dogs including crossbreed dogs.

The main elements of the sport are good sportsmanship and fun for the dog and handler. All you need is a socialised, high energy dog with some basic obedience to get going. -Supplied
