Drugs found in Margate

All were arrested and charged with dealing drugs.

Margate Saps drug team was recently doing operations when they received information that there was a suspicious man at Margate taxi rank.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Sibu Ncane, said the drug team immediately went out and observed what the man was doing.

“They then noticed that he was dealing in drugs, the man aged 42, was arrested and charged with dealing in drugs,” said Ncane, adding that in another incident two Sundays ago, the same members were on duty when they received information about people dealing in drugs at Nositha Location.

Ncane added that on arrival they found three men aged between 25 and 36 in possession of drugs.
He said all three were arrested and charged with dealing drugs.

“The case was postponed to June 15 and they are still in custody with no bail,” said Ncane.
