Pure perfection for cyclist

Two cyclists with South Coast connections featured in the top eight.

Candice Lill and Tyler Jacobs put in a performance worthy of a five-star review as they completed a perfect clean sweep of the FNB Wines2Whales Chardonnay race in the Cape last weekend.

The pair won all three stages, racing in the colours of Seattle Coffee Co eFort Almar.

They even had time to stop for a selfie at the FNB Private banking picture frame on their way to victory at Benguela Cove.

They were joined on the final general classification podium by Vera Looser and Sarah Hill (Efficient Infiniti Racing) in second place and Margot Moschetti and Costanza Fasolis (eFort 1) in third place.

Candice is based in Cape Town but is originally from Oribi.

Hayley Smith (Bell EPT) of Uvongo and her partner Janice Venter placed eighth.
