Margate Darts Association has wrapped up two leagues for the year in the past week or so. These have been the Luckys 3-a-side and the Stech Construction & Supplies 4-a-side mixed team leagues.
Winners of the Luckys 3-a-side were Young Gun Seniors, namely Mike Holloway, Solly Maquthu, Phillip Swanepoel and Archie Willem. First runners-up were Lions Blue in Eddie Ramaloo, Jason Govender and Collin Govender. Second runners-up were Lions Red, comprising Tony Premnadu, Ashley Nair and Harold Jantjies.
The Young Gun Seniors were congratulated on winning the league without losing a game. MDA thanked the sponsor, Luckys Fishing, Sports, Arms & Ammunition.

Meanwhile, the Stech Construction & Supplies 4-a-side mixed team league saw players from all four clubs feature in teams. It was a chance for the members of these clubs to play with each other instead of against for a change, and it went down a treat.
The league was competitive, and the standard of play high. Improvement was noted within the youth structure, with some of the new, younger players toppling some of the senior players. MDA thanked Stech Construction for their sponsorship.
Winners were Harleys Darts Club, namely Tony Premnadu, Johan Havenga, Theunis Duvenhage and Allan Palmer. In second place were Hot Points, in Avikar Maharaj, Minette Nawrattel, Rion van Zyl and Danie Collins. Third place went to Venom, comprising Harold Jantjies, Eddie Ramaloo, Yvonne Swart and Dean Collins.
