Cops hunt for child rapist

A warrant of arrest has been issued by the court for rapist Sifiso Nicolas Popo Mfeka.

Mfeka, now 37, was accused of raping two children, aged 10 and seven, in Boboyi in February 2018.

He was found guilty and was instructed to return to court the following day for mitigation purposes.

Mfeka absconded and has not been seen since. It’s alleged he may be in the Ezinqoleni area.

The public is requested to contact the nearest police station or the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Sifiso Gigaba of the Saps Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Units Port Shepstone, on 039 688 7900 or 078 9142561 if they know of his whereabouts.
