Archer excels at champs

Nadine Tapson shoots for the Nelspruit team.

Nadine Tapson (28) from Palm Beach shot her personal best at the recent 2024 3Di National Archery Championships in Pretoria.

Her ‘eagle-eye’ shooting skills earned her second place.

Tapson shoots for the Nelspruit team, as there are no registered clubs in KZN.

“I had a rough start, shooting one of my worst scores on the first day, but I claimed my place on the second day by shooting my personal best,” she said.

Tapson has been shooting competitively for two years.

“I love it because it’s something different that you don’t see all the time, and you meet so many people along the way.”
