Choir brings joy to villagers

Sipho Ngxola is the artistic director of the South Coast Choir which is formerly known as the Gamalakhe Choir.

Villagers at the Margate Retirement Village were treated to the beautiful voices of the South Coast Choir last Saturday.

According to the village’s Angie Meek, they have a committee which regularly brings in outside entertainment for the residents.

“We brought the South Coast Choir to give us insight into what they do and to listen to their beautiful voices. This is one of the many activities that we do during the year, and it’s not the first time we have had this choir here,” she said.
