Spike in crime in Uvongo

Residents are urged to lock up laptops, cellphones, and other valuables.

The Uvongo Community Policing Forum (CPF) warns residents about a spike in criminal activities in the area.

The CPF urges residents to draw curtains, close windows and lock doors.

Residents should also activate their alarm systems and lock up laptops, cellphones and other valuables.

The CPF added that once residents enter their premises, they must ensure that the gate closes behind them and to be always vigilant.

“Contact our dedicated CPF members on 084 2498246 or 084 0845938. Pin the Crime Watch Group to the top of your WhatsApp list for instant access. Together, we can combat crime in Uvongo,” said the CPF.
