Gogos knit for a good cause
Thirty five grannies attended the recent gathering, bringing warmth, laughter and incredible talent to Shelly Centre.
Women of a certain age can now get together and knit for a good cause over breakfast.
Recently, Shelly Centre joined hands with Remax Coast and Country to support the Grannies Craft Club, a heartfelt initiative that brings together local grannies every Wednesday to knit clothing for new-born babies in the community, as well as teddies that are donated to the annual December Toy Run.

In support of this beautiful cause, Shelly Centre proudly donated the event space and décor.
RocoMamas generously sponsored a delicious breakfast, while Pick n Pay provided a spread of snacks for all the attendees.
The centre said the initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to support community-driven projects and to give back.
“It is just one of many reasons why Shelly Centre is more than a shopping destination. It is a place where the community comes together,” said the centre in a statement.
