Regional league’s fixtures in final stretch

Madiba All Stars will play against Umzinto FC at the Hollywoodbets Ugu Men’s Regional League play-offs.

The last weekend of the Hollywoodbets Men’s Regional League fixtures has been announced.

Gamalakhe United will play at home against Punters at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre in the Southern stream this Sunday (11th) from 13:00.

Reserve FC will go against MSM United at Munga Sport Ground in the same stream at 13:00.

Madiba Stars will play against Shobeni at the Maburg Sports Ground from 11:00.

PSG will go head-to-head with Gamalakhe Campus at 13:00.

Also, Mighty Liverpool will play against Golden City at Munga Sport Ground from 11:00.

Meanwhile, in the Northern stream, Dumisa FC will play against IX Experience at Jolivet Sports Ground from 13:00.

Lamina FC will go against Shayamoya at the Sezela Sports Ground from 09:00.

Brothers FC will play against Turton at 11:00.

Amahlongwa will play against Umzinto at 13:00.

These games will also be played at the Sezela Sports Ground this Sunday (11th).

With Madiba All Stars leading the Southern stream log by 39 points and Umzinto FC leading the Northern stream with 47 points, it seems the two teams will go against each other at the Hollywoodbets Ugu Men’s Regional League play-offs as only one set of games remain in the season.

Reflecting on the season, Gamalakhe United’s coach, Mpumelelo Mbono, said before worrying about results, you have to first build a solid relationship between players.

“We are more than just a team, we are now a family. Next season, we will target the top four position. I am so proud of this young team. When I started with them last year, I was coaching boys, but now they have changed and become men. No matter what, my boys, I am proud of you,” he said.
