Soccer event to be held in memory of TB Molefe
The soccer tournament will strictly feature teams affiliated with the Makhulukhulu Football Association.
The South African National Civic Organisation in Ugu, in collaboration with the Makhulukhulu Sports Academy, will host a football tournament in memory of Baba TB Molefe.
It will be held at the TB Molefe Sports Ground and Bambayi Sports Field in Gamalakhe on Sunday, June 29, from 08:00.
The event will strictly feature teams affiliated with the Makhulukhulu Football Association.
Mpume Mbono of the Makhulukhulu Sports Academy said the tournament will not only celebrate Molefe’s life and legacy, but also promote solidarity and unity within the community.
“We invite all teams and supporters to join us in honouring Baba TB Molefe in the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie. Let us come together to remember and pay tribute to a great man who touched the lives of so many,” he said.
