Pageant hopeful needs public’s support

The 15-year-old's love for modelling started in 2023.

Sheppie High learner Ilungile Mvimbi has her eyes set on the Miss Golden Heart South Africa 2025 crown.

The 15-year-old is asking the public to vote for her, so that she can bring the crown home.

She said her love for modelling started in 2023.

Ilungile explained that she attended a local pageant to observe how pageantry worked, and realised this is what she wanted to do.

She then joined a modelling agency to get much-needed mentorship and guidance.

The Miss Golden Heart hopeful added that she has since entered several pageants, which has grown her love for modelling.

“Winning the crown would be a dream come true. It would be a significant achievement, and a wider platform to amplify my advocacy for mental health,” she said.

The public can support by following her on Facebook: Ilungile Mvimbi, Instagram: ilungile_mvimb.i or via the link: https://pageantvoteafrica.com/pageants/1610/contestants/16790

The crowning will be in East London on October 4.
