Mystery win for Blue Oceans swimming relay team

The swimmers have added to the excellent results.

Blue Ocean Aquatics took part in the Seagulls Winter Champs gala at DHS and did well.

BOA placed fifth overall out of 12 clubs. The boys team came third out of 16 teams and the girls team eighth out of 18 teams.

“We came home with 15 gold medals, 19 silver medals and five bronze medals,” said coach Mandy Koegelenberg. “BOA took first place in the mystery relay and won R1 000 for the win.”

Top medal winners were Ella Bunge, Sven Buhr, Kirsty Koegelenberg, Peter Koegelenberg, Thomas Delport and Marnu Koekemoer.

Overall, it was a fantastic meet with many personal best times swum.
