Preparations under way for Lights in the Forest in Umtentweni
The weeklong event has grown over the years.
Lights in the Forest, hosted by Living Word Hibiscus Church in Umtentweni, will once again add to the Christmas atmosphere on the South Coast this December.
It will take place from Friday, December 19 to Friday, December 26, with gates opening nightly at 18:30.
Entrance fee is R20.
Step into a glowing forest of light, laughter and memories.

“For eight nights, the forest will come alive with music, joy, friendship and breathtaking light displays handcrafted by local families and businesses to create moments you’ll never forget,” said Pastor Wilko Kunz.
“Bring your loved ones, your picnic blanket or camping chairs, and enjoy this one-of-a-kind Christmas experience. Each evening holds something new.”
Items on sale will include popcorn, coffee, boerewors rolls, pancakes and cold drinks.
“Everyone’s welcome, come as you are. Walk the path, feel the wonder and share the light,” encouraged Wilko.
