Sages golf swings into Margate

Sages golf on the South Coast is back, with Margate Country Club hosting the revived organisation’s first tournament in many years.

The event was attended by some of the National Sages committee members, plus some of Margate CC’s members.

Some 50 plus golfers teed it up on what proved to be an unforgettable day.

Winning the day were Kobus and Marianne Fick on 73 points, with Debbie Marx and Sandi Johnston next on 65 points.

Norman and Moira Fogwill had 63 points, followed by Andy Young and John Marzetti on 59 points.

Jackpot holes were won by Kim and Dawn Howden. Kim was also nearest the pin on the 4th and Allen Tarr nearest on the 11th.
