Armed robbers hit Port Shepstone business
A large number of cellphones were stolen.
Two men under the pretext of servicing CCTV cameras at a retail store on Wooley Street, Port Shepstone fled with a large number of cellphones recently.
Saps Ugu District Corporate Communication said two suspects dressed in blue reflective overalls with black caps entered the store at about 08:00.
“It is alleged that the men, one of whom was armed with a pistol, instructed the two employees to hand over cellphones, mostly Honour and Samsung.
They then fled on foot.”
A case of business robbery has been opened for investigation by Saps Port Shepstone. No arrests have been made as yet.
