Brothers dominate in darts

Jumperz Darts Club proved to be the best team in the association in 2025.

The Port Shepstone District Darts Association (PSDDA) playing as Ray Nkonyeni Darts Association celebrated its 48th annual darts banquet at the Port Shepstone Andhra Sabha Hall last Saturday.

Jumperz Darts Club proved to be the best team in the association in 2025, producing big names in darts, namely Pravin Sewraj, Jewan Bowla and Victor Reddy.

The association is proud to announce that Pravin Sewraj (aka Fire) on his achievements in KZN and Darts South Africa. Pravin closed a game of 170 at national level games, the highest score on a dart board. He also holds the most 180s and the 180 championship title for the year.

Pravin also won the senior men’s competition at nationals.
Pravin’s brother Venesh Sewraj (aka Rubber) closed 167 in the DSA games, this being the highest close at KZN level. A great achievement for the team and the PSDDA.

Venesh also recorded the highest number of 171s for the season at PSDDA, a total of 20. He also won the 171 Cup title for the association, and to round up the season he also won the singles league championship.

The chairperson of PSDDA, Bupen Prakash, thanked sponsors for their generous support. He also thanked the darts players and wished them a happy New Year. The association invites new and old clubs and darts players, both beginners and professionals, women and youth, to join the association.
