Augi, Lynne win betterball at Southbroom

The runners-up were Heather Anderson and Gwyn Wright.

The ladies’ betterball Stableford was won by Augi D’Ewes and Lynne Blackstock on 45 points.

Runners-up were Heather Anderson and Gwyn Wright on 44 points, counting out Louise Leal and Ruth Egbert, who counted out Jolanda Pieterse and Alta Kriegler.

The men’s betterball was won on 43 points by Jack Moulder and Nicky Smith, who counted out three other pairs, namely Lee Hutchinson and Phil Verwey, Bob Clark and Gerald FitzGerald, Eddie Geffen and Bob Carmichael.

Saturday’s ladies’ alliance was won on 81 points by Vash Pillay, Sandy FitzGerald, Louise Leal and Leny van Duijn, two ahead of Heather Anderson, Augi D’Ewes, Regina Bosshart and Solange Fox.

The men’s alliance saw Russell Mackenzie, Dave Fox, Det Wichmann and Paul Dowdle take first place on 90 points.

Runners-up on 85 points were Eddie Geffen, Malcolm Greenland, Colin Mckay and Bob Carmichael, counting out Gary Brackley, Simon Shusha, Jack van Den Eijkel and Graham Holford.

Chicken Run winner was Malcolm Greenland on 22 points, three ahead of Alexander Huber, Paul Dowdle and Gavin Wagenaar.
