Nomads ‘snap’ it at Sheppie

THE annual SNAPS game was played at Port Shepstone Country Club last Sunday.

SNAPS is an acronym for the clubs which took part, namely Sages, Nomads, Albatross, Pro-Vision and Senior Women.

It was the second year the competition has been held and, once again, Southern Natal Nomads emerged victorious.

Scores were Nomads 41.8 points, Albatross and Pro-Vision, both 39.6.

Best pairs on the day were Leon Reeders and Ken Morris on 51 points, followed by Ashoo Singh and Kas Pillay on 45 points.

On 44 points were Sharms Goverdan and Pravis Govender, as well as Colin Moodley and Risheen Goverdan.

Then, on 43 points were Andy and Kathy Platt, as well as Ronnie Naidoo and Krish Kandasamy.
