Dezzi Raceway to host major motoring event
It's good news for motoring enthusiasts.
THE Gas Motorshow will make its long-awaited debut at the Dezzi Raceway in Oslo Beach on May 30 and 31 this year.
It’s a well known fact that KwaZulu-Natal has lost a major motoring festival which has left a huge void for motoring enthusiasts and the public.
The Gas Magazine Team decided to conceptualise a world-class motoring festival at the only race track in the province … Dezzi Raceway.
Gas Motorshow is a motorshow with a difference. It has been termed “The World of Definitive Motoring”.
It will be held at Dezzi Raceway, a mere 50 minutes from Durban, at this one-of-a kind facility which is equipped to accommodate all facets of motor sport, such as a quarter mile exhibition, tandem drifting, spin stunting, show ‘n shine, go- karting, RC drifting, extreme bike trials and stunts, the fastest cars on display in SA, the first trackside suicide rides, and much more.
Various exhibitors and motor brands will showcase car products and services as part of the event.
Racers and patrons will be invited to experience the only track facility of its kind in KwaZulu-Natal.
There’ll be so much more, including numerous lifestyle elements such as water sports, fishing, a Master Chef cookout, food court, live entertainment, bar facilities, strongman challenge, outdoor automotive cinema experience, children’s action zone, fireworks by the lake and gaming.
These will be incorporated into the event to give it a holistic feel creating an environment of family fun and adventure to experience over the two days.
Times are from 9am to 7pm, both days.
Tickets cost R60 each for adults, R30 for pensioners. Children under12 get in free. VIP tickets, limited to 500 per day, will sell for R200.
