WADE Young of Paddock won Round 3 of the Liquorland National Enduro Motorcycle Championship, namely the Kei National Enduro, at Spring Valley in East London last weekend.
The current E1 champion, Young (Brother Leader Tread KTM) scored a hat trick of victories when he claimed his third consecutive E2 (Open Class) win of the season.
Conditions were wet and challenging, to say the least, but Young, who was injured during a race two weeks ago, had a problem free race.
Harding’s Scott Bouverie clinched second spot.
Bronson Louw of Umzumbe was placed fifth, while Blake Gutzeit of Oslo Beach was sixth.
Kyle Flanagan, of Paddock, was third in the E1 class. Jody Engelbrecht was third in the senior class.
Competitors will now only have less than two weeks to prepare themselves and their bikes for the fourth round of the 2015 season, the Ashton National Enduro, which takes place in the Ashton/Bonnievale/Montagu areas on May 2.
