THE KZN Drifters went to Richards Bay last weekend to compete in the second round of The Drift Mulisha competition.
After lots of sideways action in the warm up, Gavin Puren qualified in first place, Nick Frey in second place and Brendan Puren in fifth place.
The top 16 drifters went into tandem drifting to see who would be top dog.
In the end, Gavin managed sixth spot, with Brendan Puren in seventh. The Puren brothers are sponsored by GT Logistics.
However, after numerous ‘one more times’, Nick Frey won the overall competition and brought home first for round two of the series.
The Natal Power Steering team was thanked for its help in getting the car ready.
Team Zee also congratulated Nick on his superb effort.
The third round of the Supa Drift Series will take place in Zwartkop soon.
