GANES CAUSES UPSET WIN
GANES Munsami showed what a talent he really is when he won the matchplay title at Port Shepstone Country Club for the second year in a row.
This time around he edged out strokeplay champion Phiwa Mkhoma on the last hole, denying him a rare double.
Willem Lindeque, who was the match official, said Ganes played superbly. “He holed some clutch putts and except for the 16th hole, played exceptionally well,” he said.
Ganes beat Graham Fabricius in the semi-final in another tight game.
