WINNERS of the Peg & Punter Mixed Trips played last Wednesday were Dan and Hazel Delaney with Estelle Carter, with runners-up Chris Forward, Brian and Pam Cole-Cook.
Second session was won by Steve Rennie, John Keppler and Amy Körner with the 50/50 board going to Chris Forward.
The Save Rite Port Edward Mixed Pairs played last Friday was won by Aubrey and Penny Hood.
Runners-up were Cliff Moakes and Val Smith, and second session was won by Dave Hume and Vi Pells. The 50/50 board went to Ron Camps.
Sunday, May 3 saw the Tops Port Edward Men’s Pairs won by Leigh Warner and Dave Hume, with runners-up Joe Ashworth and Peter Bennett.
Second session went to Ray Elders and John Meyer, with John also collecting the 50/50 board.
Next sponsored competition is the SuperSpar Port Edward Mixed Trips on Wednesday May 13.
HIBBERDENE
THE competition played last Friday afternoon was won by Arthur and Miriam Seager with Louise Shone.
Second prize was won by Ollie and Marie Coetzer and Joey Venter. John and Judy Hoyer with Napier Verster won the session prize.

Hibiscus Week commences in just over three weeks’ time and there are still places available for teams.
The is no social bowls this Saturday as the men’s league will be played all day.

THE club is a hive of activity and abuzz with bowlers from near and far who will be taking part in the the Margate Week tournament being played at Margate BC, Margate CC, Village and Southbroom.
Thanks are extended to all those that have helped to make this tournament possible.
An evening of cabaret and music by Brian Smallberger will take place this Saturday, May 9 at 7pm.
Bring a picnic supper and come and enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment.

THE Hair Shoppe Women’s Fours last Friday was won by Hazel Hosken, Rosemary Esterhuysen, Nora Hill and Louise Mann.
Runners-up were Heather Roberts, Dora Vosloo, Lorraine Wijtman and Helen Proctor. Leoni Booth was the lucky winnerMin the 50/50 draw.

IT is with deep regret that the club announces the death of Irene Filmer last Sunday.
Her memorial service will be at the Methodist Church in Port Edward this Saturday at 11.30am.
Tea will be served at Munster Club afterwards.
The Dolphin Mixed Trips was won by Louise Dry, Tony Smith and Rory Lawson.
Runners-up were Piet Heunis, Cliff Moakes and Rina Fourie.

WINNERS of the Indulgence Mixed Trips last Tuesday were Leigh Warner, Hedley Meek and Pam Gilson, with runners-up Dave Hume, Vi Pells and Ally Weir.
Second session prize went to Barry Payn, Trevor Smith and Phillipa Rowney.
A total of 56 bowlers contested the Curnow Garrun Drawn Mixed Fours tournament last Saturday.
It was won by Marianne van Buuren, Andreas van der Linde, Phil Ritson and Jens Andersen.
Runners-up were Aubrey Hood, Pam Cole-Cooke, Nova Allen and Mike Gower.
Tabs in will take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 1.30pm.
The KBA markers’ course will be held at Port Edward on Monday, May 11.

SOUTH Coast Herald once again sponsored the women’s trips held last Thursday. Winners were Susan Fourie, Michelle Vermeulen and Annemarie Giblin, skipped by Sharolyn Dacey.
Runners-up were Jane Massam skipping the team of Molly Williams, Sandy Shepherd and Martie Schuman.
The Habour View Trips were played last Sunday with Trevor Green, Roy Anderson and Flippie Geyer the winners.
Runners-up were Sharon and Mark Bischoff playing with John Hové. The session prize winners were Keith Mills, Tammy Gibbon and Charles Murgatroyd.

HEATHER Flyng, Jannie van der Nest and Joan Muir won the Cupboard Value Trips played recently.
