Sheppie to host KZN Open
PORT Shepstone Country Club is gearing up to host the KwaZulu-Natal Open Strokeplay Champs from May 8 to 10.
A total of around 120 of the country’s top amateurs are expected to tee it up.
The course will be closed for regular golf. The May business day will be on May 29.

Southern KZN almost pulled off an unlikely at Kloof, ending in a 6-6 half against the defending champions.
Top performers were Chris Poole and Graham Fabricius who won their foursomes game, despite playing together for the first time – and a four-putt on the 10th.
They went on to win their singles as well.
Jarrod van Wyk holed a crucial putt on the 18th to see him and Gareth Olivant halve their foursomes, keeping Southern KZN within reach.
Gary Purtell and Marc Bormann won their singles, while David Rush finished with a half. Jan McDermott took his opponent to the 18th but lost 1-down.
