Bait up for shad compo

It will be a fantastic family event with jumping castles, super-tube and mini-golf.

THE SAPS Umzimkhulu Rock and Surf Angling Club will be holding a shad competition on Saturday, August 8, between 6am and 2pm.

Great lucky draw prizes will be up for grabs at the prize-giving, which takes place at the Jolly Roger in Hibberdene at 3pm. It will be a fantastic family event with jumping castles, super-tube and mini-golf.

The weigh-in points will be at Marine Tackle ‘n Dive in Scottburgh, Tackle Net in Port Edward and the Jolly Roger in Hibberdene.

Categories include: overall; men and women; 16 years and older; children under 16 years;  teams.

Entry is R50 per person and R200 per team of four.

Entry forms are available from Gremlin in Margate, Lucky’s in Manaba and Port Shepstone, Angler’s World in Shelly Beach, Tackle Box in Shelly Beach, Marine Tackle ‘n Dive in Scottburgh, Tackle Net in Port Edward and Engen Garage in Hibberdene.
