No ‘Lion’ around for cyclists
The inaugural Lions' Show MTB Classic Cycle Race added a wonderful buzz to the annual show.
THE very first Lions’ Show MTB Classic Cycle Race took place last Sunday.
There were three distances entrants could ride, the 45km, 20km and children’s race, with the start and finish of the race taking place at the main arena at the Port Shepstone Country Club.
Denis Meyer, public relations officer for the Port Shepstone Lions’ Club, said the event was very well supported, with a good turnout from the cyclists.
ROAG officials were on hand to register and administer the event.
