No feeling blue after trophy ceremony for swimmers
The club looks forward to this season as the last one was a great success.
BLUE Ocean Aquatics hosted its annual prize-giving at Creston College hall recently.
Swimmers from all the squads were eligible for the awards, which included time improvements at club nights, time improvements at provincial galas, merit certificates for dedication and commitment to swimming, awards for club championship galas.
Then there were all the prestigious awards for the year, including best open water swimmer, most dedicated swimmers, most improved swimmers, perseverance award and spirit awards, and most promising swimmers.
The club looks forward to this season as the last one was a great success.
A big thank goes to the committee which helped and supported the club throughout the last season and also to the sponsors and parents for their commitment.
Most Improved Senior: Nelzaan Strydom and Keytin Vorster.

Most Dedicated Senior: Michelle Kretzschmar and Michael Clifton.
Perseverance Junior: Olivia Hulley and André Steyn.
Perseverance Senior: Kayla Heydricks and Bermatt Viljoen.
Most Improved Junior Mini: Aimee Heydricks and Travis Dalton.
