Mini soccer kicks off at Woodgrange

Both teams proved to be equally strong and the match eventually went into penalty kicks.

WOODGRANGE-on-Sea Primary School recently held its first ever mini-soccer match for Foundation Phase boys and girls. Olympian and Spartan house competed strongly against each other. Teamwork, continuous cheering and well coordinated ball skills all contributed to a dynamic match. Falling down and getting injured never dampened players’ spirits. Both teams proved to be equally strong and the match eventually went into penalty kicks. Sesiphelele Khwela confidently showed off his ball skills and managed to secure a goal for the Olympian house. Sesiphelele Khwela (gr 1) and Sanele Cele (gr 3) were identified as the top players and were awarded special medals in recognition of their excellent soccer skills.
