SENSEI Morgan Moss of Johannesburg paid a visit to the South Coast recently.
Throughout his sessions at a camp held at South Coast Academy, he focused heavily on principle development through the use of various skill set development exercises.
Local Sensei Frank Moodley of Port Shepstone Shotokan Karate Club said that the ultimate goal of the camp was to work towards the ADC of kumite, (attack, defence and counter).
“Each movement can be applied using these principles and the training of these ADC skills often resembles a competition fight scenario,” said Frank.
