Soccer legend’s cup this Saturday
Eleven schools will take part in this year's soccer tournament.
THE Strini Moodley Junior Soccer Tournament for 2016 kicks off at the Port Shepstone Senior Primary school this Saturday, August 27, at 8am.
The tournament has been an enormous success since its inception in 2010.
This year, 11 schools will take part, including Marburg Primary, Merlewood Primary, Port Shepstone Islamic School, Hlanganani, St Martin de Porres, Jai Hind, RA Engar, Port Shepstone Primary, Izotsha, Port Shepstone Senior Primary and Naidoo Memorial.
Last year Merlewood Primary surprised everyone with their exciting brand of soccer and deservedly won the tournament by beating Port Shepstone Primary in the final by one goal to nil.
However, retaining the title will be difficult, because all schools have been improving every year. It looks set for another fantastic tournament.
